The Shire of Dragon's Vale is located in Warsaw, IN

and is a local branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA).

The SCA is an international, not-for-profit, educational organization living history group.

The SCA is divided into 19 major geographic regions called kingdoms.

Dragon's Vale is located in the Middle Kingdom which is the third oldest of all the kingdoms.

So now that you read the above are you more confused?  Let us make it easier to understand.

We like to re-search, and re-live the middle ages.  This is anything from the 1600's and earlier.

There are a lot of things to do within the SCA, and we are here locally to have the same fun.

Heavy fighting, Rapier and Archery tournaments, Feasts,

Dancing, Cooking, Brewing, Thrown weapons, Armor making,

Braiding, these are just a few things to name many.

If this sounds like something you would like to do, please contact our  Chatelaine, or any other

member of our shire.  Better yet, come to one of our meetings, and meet everyone.

We also perform demonstrations on request as long as we have the manpower to do so.

For more information about demonstrations

please contact the shire Chatelaine.
